I’m so thankful I found Shalene and Embodiwork Studio over a year ago. I have challenging issues, but Shalene is always up for the challenge. I originally sought her help with TMJ jaw pain, which worsened after getting braces, and she has relieved that pain for me, also helping with popping and tightness. She is currently helping me with challenging neck and head pain. She brings years of specialized experience to her practice, but is also willing to research ways to better work with my issues. She integrates her knowledge and training well with her natural intuition for massage and bodywork. Her studio is calm and inviting, and she is easy to be around and talk to (or not!).
